Freetour offers: I’m not really a great fan of the design of this tour, but what I found more disappointing was the lack of sample videos for each of the previews listed on the tour. Bravo's opinion:  The member’s area of Faces of Goo is all about the content. Sure, there are some ads here and there, but they’re not plastered all over the place in amongst the featured content. When you log in, all you’re shown on the first page is downloadable high quality porn and that’s the way it should be. The 10 latest scenes to have been added to the Faces of Goo member’s area are listed. Above, the menu directs you to the various areas of the website you’ll be interested in such as the video archive and links to the various bonus items available. There are bonus downloadable videos, bonus video feeds and an extras section with some interesting reading. Perfect if you’re looking for some new positions or sex tips to steam things up with your significant other. There’s also a network navigation menu at the very top of the page, which I’ll get into later.

But obviously, the main attraction here is the featured Faces of Goo content. The quality of the content is great. My only criticism of the videos inside the Faces of Goo member’s area is that they’re only available as clips. Each video is split up into 4 clips. I much prefer the option to have a full length single file for each scene. But other than that, there’s nothing to complain about. You’re given the choice between streaming the videos directly from the site or downloading them to your hard drive. I prefer to download videos to my hard drive. I didn’t experience any buffering problems when streaming as the server seems to be very fast, but hey, it could happen. I prefer to view a movie without having to worry about the possibility of buffering. Plus, with the videos split up into clips, I like to be able to add the videos to a playlist and watch them that way. This way, your media player will automatically swap to the next clip when the previous one finishes, as if you were watching one full length video file. This is great when your hands are otherwise busy!

Videos are available in two different quality levels: low and high. The low quality videos are barely worth mentioning. They’re well below par and I’d recommend you avoid them like the plague. Their resolution is just 240 x 180 pixels and they’re encoded at an extremely low bitrate of just 153kbps. The high quality videos on the other hand are in a whole other ballpark. The resolution steps up to an impressive 640 x 480 pixels (about 7 times as large as the 240 x 180 pixel videos if you do the math) with a bitrate of 1.33Mbps (about 8 times higher than the lower quality video option). This is a huge difference and to say it’s extremely noticeable in terms of quality would be one hell of an understatement.

So there’s high quality video on offer, but what about the archive? How about 150 full length Faces of Goo episodes? That’s a massive archive of videos. The update schedule is just as impressive. New scenes are being added every 2 or 3 days. I don’t know how long they will maintain such an impressive update schedule, but it’s been going on for months and is showing no signs of slowing down. Keep your fingers crossed because 2 or 3 updates per week is simply awesome value for money.

What makes Faces of Goo even better value for money is the fact that it’s just one of 17 websites in a network known as the Movie Pass Network.
