X Movies is a solid site in the DVD archive niche, and though not one of the oldest sites it has had a good four years of online service to members so far. In those four years they've really built up quite a collection of porn DVDs, which at the time of my visit total 3,695+ titles, with a new one added every single day. They've been doing daily updates since they launched and haven't missed a step.
A big part of a DVD Archives attraction is its diversity and its size, I think. You want to have a lot of porn to choose from, and chances are you might be in the mood for one type of sex on Monday, but come Tuesday you'll be looking to satisfy another type of fantasy. X Movies is big enough to let you do that many times over. There are a total of 28 categories that the porn falls into. These include general hardcore niches like Pornstars, which there are many of here. As well as Fetish, Gang Bangs, POV, Squirting and Toys. The fetish stuff is more of an extra, the main focus being hard and deep penetrating hardcore sex.
The movies can be streamed or downloaded in a few formats. The best is a greta quality Windows Media format. The MP4s are close in terms of quality and size, and the MPEGs are the smallest, mostly intended for portable platforms like iPods. X Movies' collection feels a little bit dated, but they do carry a ton of modern releases as well (from the last 2-3 years). The collection is a large and diverse one and the content looks sharp. Media options could have been better still, but they are about average for what you should expect from a DVD archive. Overall the site is a good quality and a good value.
