Bravo’s Opinion: The members area design is very clean and straightforward and could not be any more simple if they tried. It’s perfect. There’s a menu at the top which points you to the picture and video archives. Below the menu, you’ll find links to the most recent video and picture updates.

There are a few issues here. Firstly, none of the videos are available as one video file. They’re only available in a series of clips. I really do enjoy being able to just download one file per scene. But don’t worry, there’s an easy solution to view these clips as if they were one full length file. Simply create a playlist in your media player and add each file individually. That way, it will automatically switch to the next clip as you’re watching, which means you can keep your right hand exactly where it needs to be! ;)

What I did like was that the videos within the member’s area have trailers. Usually, trailers are limited to the tours. But I think this is a great idea. It allows a member to get a glimpse of the scene to see if he even wants to watch it or not. Then again, chances are you’re going to want to watch every single one of these scenes and many more! So I guess it is a bit redundant.

Videos come in three different quality settings: Low, High and Full Screen. Even nowadays with broadband internet, the average video size for most websites is still 320 x 240 pixels. Which goes to show just how good the quality on Teens From Tokyo is. Even the low quality video options give you 400 x 300 pixel resolution at about 600kbps bitrate. The high quality videos are the same resolution as the low quality, but the bitrate is twice at high at 1200kbps. The full screen option gives you video at a whopping 720 x 540 pixels recorded at a huge bitrate of over 2100kbps!

The pictures are just as impressive as the videos in terms of quality and how far above average they are Most websites are still offering pictures measuring about 800 pixels on the longest edge. The pictures within the Teens From Tokyo member’s area measure 1200 x 900 pixels in size. That’s simply huge! And there are a lot of pictures in the photo sets! Take for example the scene featuring Hirakawa Koyuki. There are well over 200 high quality shots of her scene to go along with the incredibly hot video. But the video is by far the hottest thing in this website. Hirakawa is a tight little Japanese girl who’s starting at a new school.
