My eyes lit up when I saw the tour. Not just because it was the first time I was laying my lucky eyes on some of these fine Asian beauties, but because I noticed the 1080p HD logo. Unfortunately, you're just going to have to take my word for it that there are indeed HD videos inside the member's area.

The member's area is very eye catching, but still remains very simple to use; something which a surprisingly large number of member's areas manage to make a mess of. On the main page, you'll find links to the most recent updates. Soapy Massage updates with a new scene every single week. Along the top of the page, below the header image, you'll find a menu linking you to the scene index and the model index.

At the moment (December 2014), Soapy Massage was just about to break the 241 scene milestone. The site currently contains 227 scenes and the next update is just a couple of days away. All the updates are dated, so you can see for yourself when you're in the member's area how consistent the update schedule has been.

I noticed that the corresponding images are labeled as stills, which are generally screenshots taken directly from the video. Ordinarily, image content like this is very low quality. I don't know how they did it, but these stills look great. Not quite as sharp as high quality photography, but honestly, it's up there with the actual photos you'll see on many websites. I guess that's just one more benefit of using higher quality video. You can of course browse the galleries online or download them in a convenient ZIP file.

As for the videos. You get two choices. You'll probably notice that the aspect ratio isn't typical for 1080p videos. They're normally presented in a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio measuring 1920x1080 pixels. These videos are in 4:3. I must say, this is the first time I've ever encountered high definition porn in 4:3. The benefits are obvious, though. Most users are still using 4:3 aspect monitors, not widescreen monitors. So this will give more of their members a true full-screen viewing experience.

You can download the full-length videos in both. You can also download each scene as a series of clips (with every scene broken up into 10 equal pieces). But these clips are only available in the reduced resolution of 480p. As for encoding, the 1080p vids come in at a staggering 7.46Mbps (7639kbps) and the 480p videos at 3.15Mbps (still very impressive, and about double what most sites with similar resolution videos are offering). The length of the scenes is very consistent. Usually a full-scene runs 22 minutes.

As for the model index, there are currently 161 different models inside Soapy Massage. The vast majority are Asian (there are maybe a handful of non-Asian stars such as Lindsay Meadows and Ryder Skye – at least when they do get a non-Asian, it's a hot girl!). There's plenty of Asian favorites in the bunch, though, such as Charley Chase, Evelyn Lin (my personal favorite Asian pornstar), Kayme Kai, Kaiya Lynn, Layla Lei and Mika Tan just to name a few. It's good to see that they use models for multiple scenes.
