Freetour offers: The free tour looks great and will give you a great idea of what you can expect to find inside. Pay particular attention to the sample videos, which are available in higher resolutions if you're prepared to give them your email address. But if not, there's a streaming flash video available too. Below that video and the links to the high quality trailers, you'll find three sample photos, shown at 25% of their actual size. To the right of the page you'll find a list of updates, all dated along with a thumbnail image and the name of the update. Besides that, you'll see plenty of thumbnail images. I'd also recommend checking out the join page to see the bonus benefits of becoming a member of Samantha Gauge, such as bonus access to 9 other websites.

General impression: Samantha is gorgeous. One look at her and most of you guys will be drooling. Her friend Brooke's website is well known for the level of quality on offer and you can expect nothing less from Samantha Gauge's website. It looks like there's a decent archive of content available. So far, so good.

Bravo's opinion:  There are some adverts for other websites and products in Samantha's member's area, but it's still a fairly clean design. There's a menu on the left hand side of the page. To the right you'll find an introduction followed by the website's latest update. Just below that you'll find the three most highly rated episodes in the member's area. Which is a great place for new member's to start their search. May as well jump straight into the hottest stuff, huh?

Move further down the page and you'll find row after row of thumbnail image. Each of these images depicts an update. And clicking on it will take you to a page with all the available content options for that particular scene.

At the time of writing this review (August 2008), the Samantha Gauge website boasted an impressive collection of 51 updates. That's no small amount for a solo girl website, which are notorious for their lack of content. Unfortunately it appears to have been a few months since the website was last updated. There hasn't been an update since May 2008. Which is particularly disappointing because according to the tour the site continues to update every few days. Clearly the dates of new additions on the tour are just a marketing gimmick.

They also misrepresent the resolution of the videos, claiming to have HD content. HD comes in either 720p or 1080p, which means they measure either 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080 pixels. There are more and more websites offering this kind of quality, but most sites that claim to have these resolutions simply don't. The videos inside Samantha Gauge's member's area, while impressive, are not in high definition.

Videos come in three different resolutions in WMV format. The high and low quality options can be streamed or downloaded and the videos labeled SuperHD can only be downloaded. The SuperHD videos measure 852 x 480 pixels and are encoded at 2.0Mbps (over 2000kbps). The high quality videos are 640 x 480 pixels and are encoded at 1000kbps. These videos still look impressive. And finally there are the low quality videos, which are just 320 x 180 pixels in size and are encoded at only 400kbps. Take not that all of the resolutions are in a 16:9 aspect ratio. I have no doubt that the content is actually shot on High Definition equipment. It's just a pity it's not available in the website.

Brooke's video scenes are all available in WMV format and come in three different quality settings: low, medium and high. All her latest scenes are in widescreen format and measure 320 x 180 pixels, 640 x 360 pixels or 852 x 480 pixels depending on which quality option you select. The bit rate at which these videos are encoded at ranges from 400kbps for the low quality videos to 1000kbps for the medium quality vids right up to an awesome 2000kbps for the highest quality video option available. The low and medium quality videos can be streamed or downloaded to your hard drive. The high quality videos can only be downloaded.

Not all updates contain a video. Some updates are video updates and others are picture galleries. Some have both. Photo content is extremely impressive. The quality of the shots for one is outstanding. But what makes them especially impressive is that they're presented in a massive resolution of 1601 x 1067 pixels. The lack of a ZIP file to download each gallery is frustrating, though.

Now obviously the lack of updates is a concern. Especially when you're talking about a subscription based website. But to make sure you're not getting ripped off, what they do is give you access to a bunch of other websites. There are 12 others in total which means you're getting access to 13 websites for the price of one. And many of the other websites are other solo girl websites, too. The solo girl websites are Brooke Skye, Kat Young, Casey Hays, Lucy Summers, Always Pamela and Faith Belle. And the remaining websites are Just Sluts, Fucking The Help, Crazy Club Chicks, Acme Porn (Hentai), Snatches and Spank Hut.
