Freetour offers: The tour design isn't particularly appealing. Just because they have old pornstars inside doesn't mean the tour has to look like it was designed in 1996! But saying that, it does at least give you an idea of what you can expect to find inside which is more than can be said for most tours out there these days. Be sure to check out the second page of the tour for a streaming embedded flash video. You're also given the choice of downloading it in WMV format. On the third page, you'll find a list of just some of the huge names you'll find inside the member's area.
General impression: My first impression when I first reached the website was not a good one. I mean, the tour is hideous. My first impression upon entering the member's area was a whole other story, though. This site delivers exactly what it promises.
Bravo's opinion: The member's area doesn't look particularly good but like i mentioned already: this website delivers. Who really cares what the design of the website is like when there's stacks of quality content to enjoy. The first thing you'll notice after logging into Pornstar Legends will undoubtedly be the newest movies and pictures to have been added to the archives. There's no dates associated with the updates so it's difficult to tell how often the website updates. But given the size of the archive, I think it's safe to say Pornstar Legends is updating pretty frequently.
Currently (as of June 25, 2007) there are 193 female pornstars featured inside Pornstar Legends as well as 38 male pornstars for those of you who want to see the likes of John Holmes, Ron Jeremy, Sean Michaels and Peter North strutting their stuff in their prime.
All up, you're looking at something like 400+ videos to choose from. Typically, each scene is at least 10 minutes in length, so that's plenty of porn to keep you occupied for quite some time! The resolution and bit rate at which the videos are encoded at is impressive. The videos measure 640 x 480 pixels in size and are encoded at 1.5Mbps (about 1500kbps). Pornstar Legends is one of the best retro porn sites I've come across. You'll find content ranging from the seventies and eighties right through to the nineties and beyond. The quality of the content is great and for less than 25 dollars per month you're getting decent value for money. Throw in the bonus reality porn video feeds as well as access to a DVD Video-On-Demand website with hundreds of titles and you've got yourself one hell of a deal.
