Freetour offers: The tour is an older style of design. It's basically just a collage of whatever they could get their hands on. It's very busy and I'm personally not a fan of this style of tour because although it gives you a decent idea of the range of content available, you don't get much in the way of details. You don't find out what the latest additions to the member's area are. You don't get picture samples and scene previews. You will find a video trailer on the second page, though. So that's certainly worth taking a look at. And the third page of the tour is also well worth checking out. Why? Go and see for yourself!
General impression: It seems that porn these days is all about a fresh new face. More and more people are losing interest in the big pornstars and are flocking to sites with new girls they've never seen before. Personally, I don't see a problem with this. But the tried and true pornstars that we all know and love tend to be forgotten in this new day and age where anyone with a hot body and a camera can be a pornstar. The times they are a changing! Pornstar Dreams will help you find pictures and videos from Amber Michaels and Asia Carrera right through to the likes of Xara Diaz and Zarnia. It's like an A-Z of who's who in the porn industry!
Bravo's opinion: There are a lot of things about the Pornstar Dreams site that are unclear. I can't tell you how often they update, but I can tell you that at the time I'm writing this review (June 24, 2014) the site says the next update is due tomorrow. So that's a promising sign. I can't tell you exactly how many image galleries and videos there are. But what I can tell you is that there are over 448 different pornstars featured inside Pornstar Dreams and each and every one of them features at least one item of content, whether it be an image gallery or a video. Many have both and in most instances there are quite a few items of content available.
One of the things I really like about browsing through the website is the bio details available for each model. It's not particularly in depth, but you get her age, measurements, height and if the item of content associated with that scene is a video, you get the length of the video in minutes. Typical run-time for one of the videos inside Pornstar Dreams is 20 minutes. Some are longer, though. But that's what you should expect to find for the most part. You also get a brief description about what's going on in that particular picture gallery or video.
Picture resolution is reasonably impressive. Pics measure in at 1024 x 768 pixels in size. And the quality of the photography is pretty good. The number of pictures in each gallery is also impressive. Every other gallery had at least 100 pictures. All of the picture galleries are also available in downloadable zip archives for easy offline viewing.
Videos are even more difficult to give you a number on. Be assured that there are less, though. What I did was select the 20 pornstars with the most recent updates to the Pornstar Dreams archives. Of these 20 pornstars, just 8 of them contained videos and all up there were 17 videos. Although one of these 20 pornstars was Britney Skye and she contributed 8 of those 17 videos. So let's say conservatively based on these numbers there's 10 videos for every 20 pornstars inside Pornstar Dreams. By my reckoning, that puts the number of videos available inside Pornstar Dreams at about 180 or so. Now this is just an estimation based on the number of videos I encountered while browsing the most recently updated pages of the site and should certainly not be taken as fact.
Video quality isn't as impressive as the picture quality inside this member's area. Firstly, you can't download a full-length file for each scene. Each scene is split up into several clips which are available to be streamed or downloaded in either WMV or MPEG format. There's two quality settings for each. For the WMV, you can choose between low and high. Both quality options are in 320 x 240 pixel resolution. The difference is the low quality videos are encoded at 350kbps compared to the higher quality videos which are encoded at 450kbps. There's not a great deal of difference between the two and to be honest in this day and age this kind of video quality is well below par. There is a quality increase when watching the MPEG videos but not much. The resolution increases to 384 x 288 pixels.
Last but not lease are the bonus sites. Members also receive access to the pictures and videos of 8 reality porn websites by way of content feeds. What this site certainly has is volume. There's an incredible amount of content available in this website. The price is also pretty good. The only thing lacking is the quality of the featured Pornstar Dreams video content. The content in the bonus video feeds is much better in my opinion. Also, the featured Pornstar Dreams picture content is fantastic. For the price, I reckon it's certainly worth a look. But there are better pornstar sites out there. I'd suggest you keep browsing through the Bravo Porn reviews. Enjoy!
