Porno 4 Portables Review

Porno 4 Portables falls somewhat short of the mark in my opinion. The biggest problem I saw right away is that their movies stream in a Flash video player. The iPhone and iPods cannot play Flash apps like movies, so you won't be streaming anything on your device. You'll have to download the QuickTime format instead, which is an MP4 file with a good quality playback. The layout of the site is also not optimized for browsing on a mobile, so you'll have to download it then move it to your device, or just make due with the website as is in your phone's browser.

The other option is a Windows Media file that's small and looks good, made to look great on the smaller portable device screens. Most of the mobile porn market is coming on Apple devices so I think that it was a rather large misstep to offer streaming Flash movies instead of H264 streams (which are MP4 files). In the end, this lack of functionality and computer browser-based design of the site make this little more than an archive of small, lower quality movies that you could, if you wanted to, transfer or download directly to your device's hard drive. In my opinion this undermines the whole purpose. The Kick Ass network sites already include an MP4 download for iPods, PSPs and other mobile devices, this site is just redundant of that.

The porn itself is good since it's all taken from the network. You'll get a bit from all of the sites, including the crazy gang bang and cum play action from 10 Man Cum Slam and 5 Guy Cream Pie, as well as the fetish material from sites like Barefoot Confidential and Ultra Cuckolds. New scenes from all of these sites and more are added daily, so there's at least a regular influx of content.

Still, I just can't see the advantage of this site. In the end they give you free access to all of the 18 sites on the network, where the content comes from, and if you wanted you could get your portable porn downloads directly from each. I suppose this groups them all together on your behalf, and so is slightly more convenient, but it falls short of what a mobile porn site ought to be.

Porno 4 Portables is a conventional website that archives specialized download formats of the movies found on the Kick Ass network. The site fails to really cater to a mobile audience with its typical design and Flash streaming movies, but it is convenient in that it groups iPod-ready formats of scenes from all the network's sites in one area. Since you get access to that network for free the site ends up feeling redundant though. It's worth joining, but only because the Kick Ass network is worth joining, not because this site offers much value itself.
