Pink Visual Pass Review

Pink Visual Pass launched as a network in 2006, but many of the websites in the network have been around for much longer than that. At the time of writing this review (May 2009), the network boasted an impressive 3470 scenes (the tour inaccurately says there are 2499 scenes available). Undoubtedly that number will be higher by the time you've read this because the network updates almost daily with new content.

And the quality of that content is what sets Pink Visual Pass apart from the rest. Despite the technology being available for years now, very few porn sites are offering high definition content for their members. The difference between 720p videos (1280x720) and typically sized videos in most other porn sites (such as 640x480 pixels, for example, is quite a bit more than is at first apparent. A common mistake is to think that the difference is maybe only about double. The truth is, 720p videos are actually 3 times larger than 640x480. Do the math and see for yourself! That's a 200% increase in resolution. The majority of HD websites I've come across have been stand-alone websites. Meaning no additional network access to other sites. This is one of the very few networks I've seen offering HD content.

Surprisingly, the highest quality videos in the site are the streaming flash videos. Usually, it's the downloadable content that offers the best level of quality. But if you want true HD, then you need to stream the videos. The streaming flash videos measure 1280x720 pixels and are encoded at a whopping 5000kbps. The downloadable WMV files, while absolutely beautiful also, measure 1068x600 pixels in size, encoded at a about 4200kbps. There are of course lower quality options available too in both WMV and streaming flash.

The accompanying high quality photo galleries are rather underwhelming in comparison. I was expecting some high resolution stuff, but was surprised to see pictures measuring just 800x534 pixels in size. And unfortunately there is no option to download the galleries in ZIP files.
