Only Carla

Freetour offers: The free tour for Carla's website has a really personal feel to it. Which is just as well, because personality is something that's seriously lacking in a lot of solo girl websites these days. Be sure to check out all the pages of her tour. There's the sample page which gives you some free pictures to check out as well as an introduction video. The updates page on the tour is great because you can see just how often Carla updates her website. Last update was in January 2014. And then finally there's the page with some more information about Carla as well as her latest diary entry.

General impression: Carla is a beautiful girl and her site seems to have a lot of personality. As naughty as she is, she still has a kind of girl next door feel about her. I have no doubt she'll appeal to a lot of you reading this just as much as she has appealed to me after browsing her website for just a few short minutes.

Bravo's opinion:  The simple design approach present on the free tour of Carla's website continues once you're inside her member's area. However, the menu at the top of the page is obviously a little more useful than on the tour. There you will find links to the obvious areas of the website like the picture and video archives. But there's also some other interesting links. For example, there's a link to Carla's personal diary, which she updates frequently. There's also a discussion forum for members where you can chat about Carla's website. Best of all, she posts too! She shows a lot of commitment to her fans and that's very important when it comes to a website like this, if you ask me. The forum and diary entries give Carla's website a personal feel which would be difficult to find in other websites.

The My OC link (or My Only Carla) is very interesting. This is basically where you can adjust the way you view Carla's website. There's a whole bunch of options available. For example, you can choose how many thumbnail images appear per page in the picture galleries, or whether the pictures open up in a new window or in the same window. I like that you can set the site to show all the galleries on a single page, and all of the thumbnails for each gallery on a single page also. I personally don't like having to browse through pages and pages of thumbs, so this is a feature that I really appreciate. And the only two other websites I've seen this in so far have been Only Tease and Only Melanie, both of which are run by the same folks behind Only Carla! The My OC page is also where you set your forum handle if you decide you want to post on Carla's forums. But probably one of the most important settings is the picture size setting. All of the pictures inside Carla's website are available in two resolutions: standard and high.

The standard resolution photos have an impressive resolution of about 1000 x 600 pixels. But the high resolution photos bump the longest edge up to just over 2000 pixels! By default, standard sized resolution is set in the preferences, so if you want to browse the full sized pictures, you're going to need to change that once you log in. But even if you don't, every picture set is available for download in zip format and you're given a choice of both standard and high resolution regardless of your preference settings. I love being able to download sets to my hard drive, especially high resolution ones so that I can browse them without having to wait for large pictures to load.

There are also two sizes to choose from when it comes to the videos. But unlike the pictures, only one of the options in the videos is worth looking at. Do not bother with the low resolution options. These videos are only 208 x 160 pixels in size, which is terrible! The high resolution videos on the other hand are an extremely impressive 640 x 480 pixels (four times as large as the standard 320 x 240 pixel videos you'll find in most member's areas and over 9 times larger than the low resolution 208 x 160 pixel option). The quality of the high resolution videos is superb. The video image is crystal clear. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were watching a DVD. The quality really is just that good.

The videos are in AVI format and a typical run time is a little over 5 minutes. There's a chance you'll need to install the XviD codec before you can view the videos, but they make it easy by providing you with links to download it for free as well as a guide on how to install it (the installation process is very simple). But if regularly view videos downloaded from the internet, chances are you probably already have the XviD codec installed and don't even realize it yet!

A great place for new members to start once they arrive inside Carla's member's area is the search page. Here, you can list galleries by the category in which they fall under. And to give you an idea of the wide range of categories to choose from, there are 39 in all ranging from Carla dressed as a French maid or college student to her wearing sexy boots and stockings.

Another area of the website that I like and always appreciate is the coming soon area. Here, you get previews of the next few updates due to be added to Carla's member's area. The layout is not at all unlike the updates page on the free tour.
