Kat Young

Freetour offers: There's only one page to Kat's tour but it has everything you want in a tour crammed into that one page. At the top of the page is a flash video which will begin playing as soon as it's buffered. This can be a wee bit annoying, but don't say you weren't warned. Make sure you have your speakers off if you're browsing at work. Right below the flash video you'll find links to downloadable WMV files in HD quality. The HD video need to be seen to be believed and I highly recommend you check it out! Down a little further and to the left of the page you'll find a list of thumbnail images depicting recent updates to Kat's member's area. And then there's the usual collage of pics and smaller thumbnail images. I would also suggest you take the time to check out her join page where you'll see some good news about other websites you'll get access to with your Kat Young membership, but more about those later.

General impression: Like I said, this is the first asian solo-girl website I've come across and I'm impressed. Kat's a cutie and her site certainly looks the part from the outside. Especially those sample videos. I can't believe how good the quality of those videos is! Simply awesome. I have a feeling this is a site I'm going to enjoy quite a bit. I love my job!

Bravo's opinion:  I'm not particularly sold on the design of Kat's member's area but there's no denying that it contains some awesome quality content and lots of it too! The main page is particularly unfortunate as most of it is dedicated to advertising other websites. At the top of the page you'll find the menu but the only link of interest will be the video archive. There's a messaging page, presumably where you might be able to get in touch with Kat but it's blank. There's a webcam page, but it currently says there are no shows planned in the near future.

According to the date stamps on the content, the most recent update to Kat's website was a couple of weeks prior to me writing this review (August 13, 2007). Before that, the closest update was just a couple of days and again for the update before that one. So it seems like the updates aren't particularly consistent. You might wait a couple of weeks for the next update one time and then get handful in a single week another time. Personally, I prefer consistency but you take what you can get, I guess.

The bonus sites you'll get access to that are mentioned on the join page aren't particularly obviously. You'll have to scroll right down to the bottom of the main page past all the adverts to find a link to the bonus sites page. On there, you'll find out you get access to another 12 websites, 6 of which are more high quality solo-girl websites featuring: Brooke Skye, Casey Hays, Samantha Gauge, Lucy Summers, Always Pamela and Faith Belle. On top of that, there's also 6 other porn sites to enjoy: Just Sluts, Fucking The Help, Acme Porn, Crazy Club Chicks, Spank Hut and Snatches. That's a total of 13 websites for the price of one. And on top of that, you'll also get access to a number of bonus video feeds. Not bad value for money?

And it's not like this is one of those solo girl websites that needs bonus content to fill it out. One thing that really annoys me about most solo-girl websites it that there's very little depth in the content. Usually you can burn through it all in a matter of days. That's not the case with Kat Young's website, though. Inside you'll find a mammoth 179 exclusive videos featuring Kat Young. Most solo-girl websites only have a fraction as many videos as this girl. The quality of these reviews is awesome, too. At the lower end of the spectrum the videos measure 320 x 180 pixels and are encoded at just 400kbps. Not particularly impressive, I know. But the next option available increases the resolution to an impressive 640 x 360 pixels and these videos are encoded at 1Mbps (1024kbps). But the highest quality option available (Super HD), measures in at a whopping 852 x 480 pixels and these videos are encoded at a fantastic 2Mbps (2048kbps). You'll notice of course that the aspect ratios of these videos is widescreen, which looks awesome. I'm running an absolutely huge monitor at a very high resolution and even when stretched to full screen the Super HD videos look great. What's also great about these videos is they're each available as a single full-length file. No small split up clips to worry about. And they download fast. Real fast. The two lower quality video options can be streamed or downloaded to your hard drive whereas the highest quality Super HD videos are only available for download. All videos are in WMV format.

The only bad thing about this membership? No picture content. I'm a huge fan of picture content so I was a little disappointed not to see any inside Kat's website. But then again, you're getting access to a massive archive of exclusive high quality video content, so you can't really complain. And besides, heaps of the other websites you'll be getting access to with your membership to Kat Young's website contain high quality pictures (measuring about 1600 x 1000 pixels in size, mind you). So it's not like you'll have no pictures to enjoy with this membership, even if they aren't Kat Young pics.
