Fist Flush

Before reading any further, I'd encourage each and every one of you reading this to visit the Fist Flush tour right now. Once you're there, check out the links to sample videos on the right hand side of the page. In particular, pay attention to the 1080p full HD link. The quality of this stuff needs to be seen to be believed.

To put things in perspective, a typical porn site these days offering widescreen videos has them in a resolution of 640 x 360. Obviously much smaller than 1920x1080 pixels. But I don't think most people realise just how big that difference is. So let me show you just how much bigger it is. 640X360 pixels is about 230 thousand pixels. On the other hand, 1080p videos have a little over 2 million pixels. You're literally talking about a video that is 10 times as large as the average quality video in a typical porn site.

Videos are actually available in 4 different download options, all in Windows Media Video (WMV) format. There is of course the 1080p videos, which are encoded at a whopping 8.25Mbps. The 1080p videos are the only way you'll see the scenes in 16:9 widescreen, which is unfortunate. All the lower quality options are only available in 4:3 aspect ratios. The highest quality 4:3 videos available measure 960x540 pixels in size, encoded at about 3Mbps. Videos can also be streamed in flash video format.

As for image content, you'll find both screenshot and photo galleries. Ordinarily, I don't bother with screenshot galleries. They're usually pretty poor. But the Fist Flush galleries are different. Because they're sourced from such high resolution videos, they're of a much higher quality than a regular video screenshot. And they measure the full native resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. But it's the photo content that really impresses. These photos, while smaller than the screenshots (measuring 1500 x 1000 pixels), are crystal clear and skillfully shot. Both gallery options are available to be downloaded as ZIP files.

At the time of writing this review (Jan 2014), the Fist Flush member's area contained 69 full-length scenes. They update with 1 new scene each week.There are 2 models per scene, but most models make multiple appearances. There's a total of 97 different models currently being used in Fist Flush.
