Emily Doll

Freetour offers: Emily's tour doesn't give very much away. It really is a tease. You get a personal introduction from Emily and she then goes on to tell you about the pictures and videos inside her website. She doesn't go into a great deal of detail other than mentioning the videos are in High Definition. Unfortunately, there isn't a sample video available on the tour yet, but there are 5 uncensored sample pictures to look at.

General impression: Emily is a really cute girl who seems like a lot of fun. At first glance, her site looks great. Emily herself is hot, which you can see for yourself just by taking a look at her tour. But will her site measure up once you get inside? Will it live up to the hype on the tour? After a quick glance, I can certainly say the quality is there, but what about the volume? We'll soon find out.

Bravo's opinion:  Everything looks fine and dandy from the outside, and continues to do so when you first log in. The design inside is great. It basically continues on from the theme of the tour. But you start to notice that something is not quite right once you're inside the member's area. You start seeing dates that you shouldn't be seeing. Such as the fact that the last update to Emily's website was made in October 2006.

I found this incredibly disappointing because Emily really is a very cute girl. It was especially disappointing because I'd been in another one of the Doll websites: Alyssa Doll, and had been very impressed by what I saw. So I was expecting more of the same. Let me discuss just a few of the differences I found.

Let's start with the diary. Alyssa's diary no longer updates, but there is a significant archive of entries. Emily's never updated at all. There is only one entry and it is the first and last entry that was ever made into her diary.

The video archive in Emily's website stands at just 9 different scenes compared to a whopping 58 which are available in Alyssa's website. The one fortunate thing is that her videos share the same high high level of quality as Alyssa's website, unlike the other Doll website I've reviwed: Tina Doll, which had surprisingly average quality videos. You're given 5 different quality options when viewing videos from Emily's website. The first option is a very high quality flash video option. The other four options are all Windows Media Video format (WMV). They're available in 512kbps (640 x 360 pixels), 1000kbps (850 x 478 pixels), 2000kbps (1138 x 640 pixels) and 4000kbps (1280 x 720 pixels). The last option I mentioned is bordering on being DVD quality. These are definitely up there with some of the highest quality videos I've come across since I started viewing porn sites online. Personally, I wouldn't bother with the 512kbps or 1000kbps videos. The only reason you would ever touch those would be if your internet connection was painfully slow or your computer couldn't handle the higher quality options. I should mention that your computer is going to need a fair bit of processing grunt to be able to properly play the 4000kbps videos. I can't stress enough just how high the quality of these videos is. You're going to need a computer that can handle it!

Thankfully, the image archive is a bit more respectable in terms of size, with 52 different galleries to choose from. Although that number pales into insignificance when compared to the 183 galleries available in Alyssa's member's area. The resolution of the pictures is pretty decent, with each picture measuring 1000 pixels on the longest edge.

The problem with Emily's archives, both pictures and videos, is that there are no prospects of further updates. These archives are what they are. They're not going to be getting any larger. Alyssa's archives on the other hand are constantly growing with a new picture set and a new video being added every four days without fail. What good does that do you, I hear you ask? Well, by becoming a member of Emily Doll, you're effectively joining the entire Doll network, which at the moment is a collection of 3 websites: Emily Doll, Tina Doll and Alyssa Doll. There's a fourth site on the way too, which I personally hope will be up to the same high standard set by Alyssa Doll.
