Cam Contacts is in many ways just another live sex cam chat. The difference is that it's a bit more open, and more of a community effort than other sites. The models aren't just contracted performers, but often other amateurs, real couples, and real people who want to do something different, or derive pleasure from the rush of getting nude, chatting with strangers and being naughty. You can sign up and be a “chat host” yourself if you like.

There are thousands of models and members, but at given tim there are only around 750+ connected. I say “only” because the total number is so much larger, but having almost one thousand models connected at all times is actually a very good stat, and is much larger than what other major cam chat sites can promise.

As I sifted through the pages of different models I saw a lot of variety, but overall most of the performers have a distinctly amateur look to them. If you wander into the glamour section you'll find more attractive girls than the other areas. There are also couples, gender benders, hardcore and softcore and various sub-categories in each (shy, not-so-shy, etc). It isn't too hard to find someone that is of your liking. You can also text chat before you go into a video chat, or check out photos the performer has uploaded.

As far as pricing goes, there is a range you'll run into, as it depends on what the chat host wants to charge and if you want a private chat, or a public one that other people could get into as well. There is also a 2-way chat option, where you can share your own camera with the performer. The cheapest prices I came across were as low as $0.50 a minute, but most were around $2-3 per minute and as high as $5 per minute.

Cam quality is generally good, but I can't ignore the very large number of poor quality cams I saw. Things light lighting, or just using cheap camera gear or a slow internet connection can make some models chats less than enjoyable. It is quite inconstant and this is really the one area that I think other cam sites by and large rank superior. If you're stickler for quality, Cam Contacts may not be the sort of community for you.
