The first area I inspected was the picture archive. You'll be happy to know that there were 353 Cali Teens image galleries available. Now I can't tell you exactly how many pictures there are but I can tell you that out of the 12 galleries I viewed, the smallest had 47 pictures and the largest had 139. And the average number of pictures out of those 12 galleries was about 90 pictures. So if that kind of average continued, you could estimate that there's about 18 thousand pictures available in the Cali Teens member's area. But please remember that is only an estimate. All the latest pictures appear at a resolution of 1000 x 673 pixels. You'll find at 2 or 3 picture updates per week. 3 on the weeks where there isn't a video update and 2 on the weeks where the video archive does update.

The video archive is equally impressive boasting an archive of 165 full-length Cali Teens videos. The only bad thing about the video archive is that they don't update consistently and regularly. But when they are updating, they're adding a lot in a very short of time. I just wish they'd throw one new video in per week instead of none for a couple of weeks and 2 or 3 in another week. In terms of quality, it's not bad. The low speed videos really are very poor, but they're for low speed users still using dial-up. Those videos are just 240 x 180 pixels and are encoded at just a little over 200kbps. The high speed videos however step the resolution to a respectable 480 x 360 pixels and are encoded at a much higher bitrate of about 770kbps. These high speed videos, while far from being the best I've come across recently, are certainly well above the average videos you'll find in most member's areas which typically measure only 320 x 240 pixels and feature a bitrate around the 500kbps mark.
