Besides the higher resolution, the WMV files also benefit from an incredibly high encoding rate of 1.66Mbps, which is well above what's considered standard. The average resolution for videos in paysites, even in this day and age of broadband internet is still only 320 x 240 pixels. I just want to make sure you're not making the mistake of thinking that 640 x 480 pixels is only twice as large as 320 x 240. It's a common mistake. 640 x 480 pixels is twice as high and twice as wide. If you do the math, you'll see that it's actually four times larger than the average video size! Impressive, huh?
