On the first page of the member’s area, you’re presented with the most recent update to the Asian Parade content as well as a link to the archive. Then to the left of that, is a menu with a link to other areas of the website including links to bonus picture and video feeds. I’ll explore these later on in the review in more detail, but for now, let’s focus on the Asian Parade content.

The first thing I noticed while browsing the archive was the date that each video was added. Without fail, since the inception of the website, Asian Parade has had a new exclusive video added each and every week. Currently (26th September, 2006), there are 35 exclusive full length scenes available to members. Using that information, you should be able to get a reasonable idea of how many videos are available by the time you read this review.

Each update includes both videos and pictures. What I don’t like about the videos is the fact that they’re not downloadable. They’re all streaming. Plus, they come in clips and there’s no option to view the scene as one long video. The positive points though are the range of options. You can choose between two formats: Windows Media and QuickTime. The QuickTime videos are only available in 320 x 240 pixels whereas the Windows Media videos are available in both 320 x 240 and 640 x 480 pixel resolutions. The other main advantage of the Windows Media option is the ability to view the videos in full-screen if you so desire an option which is sorely lacking in embedded QuickTime streams.

Each video comes with a corresponding image set. These are actual photos taken during the set, as opposed to the video screencaps that some websites try to pass off as picture content. The quality is reasonable and the resolution of the pics measures at 800 x 533 pixels. Most importantly, the content is hot. Take for example the video featuring Chinese girl Evelyn Lin.
