18 Eighteen

Freetour offers: Visitors arrive on the video page of the 18 Eighteen tour. The first thing you'll see will be thumbnail previews of the three most recent videos to be added to the member's area. Scroll down further and you'll find previews of some of the 18 Eighteen DVD titles you'll be getting access to. The thumbnails on the left hand side will begin to play a movie if you click on them. The photos page is a little disappointing. I was hoping to see some full sized sample pictures. Instead all I got was rows of thumbnail images along with the girl's name, her height, weight, bra size and birthday. It's clear they've got a huge range inside, but it'd be nice if you guys could see for yourself the level of quality on offer. The hardcore page is more of the same. I recommend checking out the join page too. There's a sample video of sorts embedded into the page and it looks great.

General impression: Judging by the girls I've seen on the tour, the site certainly lives up to its name. And I mean that in more than one way. Clearly these babes are all 18 years old, and that's great to see. But more than that, 18 Eighteen magazine is one of the best porn publications in the world and it's great to see their online presence doing so well and doing the brand name justice.

Bravo's opinion:  The member's area is quite simple, although the design could certainly be improved. But navigating your way around is quite easy and that's the main thing. There's a menu in the top left which links to the photos, videos, galleries, specials and model directory. In the middle of the page you'll find links to the two most recent picture galleries to be added to the website and to the right of that the latest video presentation. And just below that you'll find a link to the current month's online issue of 18 Eighteen magazine. The magazine updates throughout the month so you won't have the complete issue until the end of each month, ensuring a constant supply of updates.

This website updates a lot. 2-3 times per week, in fact. In each magazine, you'll find between 9 and 12 image galleries. Each one includes some bio information and an interview with each of the girls. Right now I'm reading an interview with the lovely Lexi Belle where she talks about her favorite sex act (she likes to be on top, by the way). She's 5'3, weighs 105 lbs and lives in California. Just in case you were curious. You'll find bio information for every girl on the website!

I'm a big fan of the model directory. At the time of writing this review, there were over 800 different models indexed throughout the 18 Eighteen website. 838 to be exact. Keep in mind that quite a lot of these girls make more than a few appearances inside the member's area and you'll start to get a rough idea of just how vast this archive of content has become after all these years.

You'll find 5 different areas to enjoy on the features page: Specials, Articles & Fiction, Galleries and last but not least, Older Sisters. Older sisters is where you'll find cute young women who aren't quite 18 any more, but they're still hot enough to make the site. It's a great little bonus area and currently there are 16 different girls to choose from. The galleries page is broken down into a further 7 categories: Lesbians, Food Fun, Dildos, Hardcore, Tiny Tits, Brats and Amateurs. There's a total of 78 galleries available in these areas of the website. Articles & Fiction is where you'll find stacks of reading material to enjoy. You'll find erotic fiction as well as tips to better please your significant other. This member's area is quite vast. I'm not going to count how many videos there are, but by my estimates there's somewhere between 350 and 400 videos in 5 different categories and from 28 different DVD titles.

Picture galleries are available in two sizes: 800 x 600 and 1600 x 1200. In both cases, members can choose between browsing the images online or downloading a zip archive file containing the entire gallery in either resolution choice. This is my preferred option for viewing galleries as there's no need to wait for each picture to load once you have it down on your hard drive.

There's also a few options when it comes to viewing videos. Firstly you're given a choice between a single file for the full-length of the scene or a series of large clips (typically 5 minutes each in length). The full-length clips are only available in WMV and measure 640 x 480 pixels and are encoded at an impressive 2022kbps. This means the quality is fantastic. The low quality clips are also WMV and measure just 320 x 240 pixels. The bit rate is reduced by quite a bit to 530kbps. The higher quality clips are in MPEG format. They measure 480 x 368 pixels and are also encoded at around the 2000kbps mark. For me, the preferred option is the full-length WMV clip. The quality is great and the convenience of a single full-length clip can't be beaten.
